Gracie's Book Drive

Got books? Got lots of books? Got lots of books you don't read?

Gracie Hendrickson and the leadership class are hosting the STHS Book Drive, and they need your help. Bring all of your gently used/new books to school this week, next week, and even the week after.

By donating your unwanted books, our neighbors in the portables will be able to build their own library and enjoy new reading material for school years to come. Please be sure to bring books in decent condition.

All books are welcome! From picture books to lengthy novels, all kinds will do! We're accepting books that all ages will enjoy from kindergarten to high school level.

Freshmen and juniors, your donation bin is in Kramer's room.

Sophomores and seniors, you donation boxes are in Ramsey's room.

February 26th - Belated Spring Dance

February 26th, 2016
6 to 10pm
$3 tickets available in the office

This is the day of our school's Valentine's Day dance. It's a little late but think of it as a belated birthday party. It's this Friday--same day as our field trip to Portland! No date required, show up for the fun, go home happy.

If you want to know why the dance has been scheduled two weeks late, just ask the leadership class. They don't know this blog exists, so I could write whatever I wanted and I'm 72% sure no one will ever see it (obviously you're reading it so I guess I'm wrong). It would be so much easier and sensible if the leadership class would try to work with the journalism class. But why do anything that makes sense, right?

Access Day - 1/20/16

Wednesday, January 20th

This is the last access day of the semester.

Classes will be split into groups and assigned to different teachers during the morning block periods.

Check the papers around the hallways to see which teachers you'll be visiting.

Be sure to finish up work and make up test scores. Finals are next week!

Invite your parents to the afternoon activity sessions. There will be games, college aid, and fun classes to take.
